Saving any money for Townsend £30m fee plus wages, and wrongdon £30m fee plus wages.
If it goes tits up this season , Benitez looks gone anyway and those 2 will be worth a lot less than we paying for them ( if it happens ) .
We will have maybe lascelles to sell and not much else .
A lot riding on this transfer window .
There is an option to buy and so looks like we do.

Just glad they made something happen. Great too see moves being made.
At least we get to see the young lad for a full season cos if Ashley won’t pay £20 million now he ain’t going to pay £30 million at the end of the season

Yet he is quite happy to waste £14.5 wages on Colback, shakes heed in disbelief

Also if Benitez doesn't renew would Kennedy want to sign on in a years time ? Ashley is obv holding the funds back and minus Benitez and another pardew in place .. Def no signing kenedy next year .
It's jus a money saving exercise.

Decent player though .. But shocking lack of ambition from Newcastle .. Again and again and again .

We cant expect to find anything out regards loan only or loan with option to buy.Not if the Chelsea manager himself has nothing to do with transfers there and even he won't know(apparently).
