    Tuesday Transfer Tittle Tattle

Linked with Joel Asoro, 19 year old striker from Sunderland for 2M but it looks like he's off to Swansea.

Linked with Mason Mount in on loan from Chelsea. He is an attacking MF who scored 9 in 29 League appearances for Vitesse in the Dutch top flight last season. I only saw him on TV but he looked good. Is he now the 107th Chelsea youngster with whom we have been linked? It seems like that many

Also read that L**ds bid for Vydra was 10M and that they were happy to pay his 30K a week wage demands until he heard there was interest from China so he upped his wage demand........... more column inch filling IMO.

    OK, so it's Thursday already........

Just read on another forum I use, not the "essential" one I hasten to add, where someone wrote that any and all transfer activity is reliant on Vydra going........

I so very much hope that premise is wrong.

Think your right and Leeds know that which is why they're playing silly buggers hoping we'll blink first and accept their offer so we can start buying

Fickle Friday brings news that Kevin Poole has now followed his former colleagues out of the door.

It appears he didn't go to Stoke with the rest as Stoke insisted on keeping their current keeper trainer Quy.

I wish him luck in his next role.

Hope he does better than that this season with us if we get him

I would want him to take us up rather than keep.................

Wilson is 5' 8" and 11 stone so will make an ideal strike partner for Luke Thomas who stands all of 5' 7" who is 10 stones 8 lbs. Put the pair of them alongside 5' 11" Mason Bennett and we have a huge forward line :grinning: ..................

As it appears FL wants to play a fluid 1-4-3-3 we would have the following for our front 3. Big guys in Nuge, Jerome and Blackman. Smaller and more nimble in Lawrence, Vydra, Wilson, Thomas, Bennett plus a couple of possibles from the U23s in Vernam and Zanzala.

Going on the premise that Blackman will be loaned out again or sold as he was won't want to be #3 to Nuge and Jerome if we even play a big lad up top. Will we still have Vydra in 3 weeks time? I hope so. That leaves, provided Vyds stays and we do play a big un, Bennett, Thomas, Wilson (if we get him) and Lawrence fighting for the 3rd spot in the starting XI.

If we are to give the likes of Thomas and Bennett a chance, and on Saturday's performance we should, do we really need Wilson?

If we then add the alleged possibility of Jozefzoon coming in from Brentford, that's another one to add to the possible permutations. He is also 5' 8" and 11 stone.

Do you see a pattern developing here?

Yes we do need Wilson for one simple reason he is better than anything we've got Don't understand this height and weight business what's that got to do with football As for selling Blackman think we will have to pay somebody to take him He looked terrible on Saturday
