Why not, they both offer pace and are prolific goal scorers. With them both picking up their pensions now wages should not be too bad either.

But... the overall package might be cheaper than any deal for Gallagher. And he's actually proved he can score prolifically.

Can't disagree with this but it affects everyone, not just us, and we have to ask if we can afford to be principled. No point making a stand if it means we can't bring anyone in, because no one is going to applaud our standing up to the agents - they'll just nick our targets and watch as we get relegated.
