Although i expected Frans to be the captain, i am quite happy with this appointment and hope he can become the leader on the park that he was showing before the injury. As far as his comeback is concerned, i like how the club appear to be holding him back, but he does look like he wants to get going.
Reading too much into the squad numbering, i see Toshney has his no 6 shirt and Scobbie and Edje right down the pecking order. I really do hope that Edje is closer to a starting berth than Toshney is!
We do seem to have an injury already with Billy King who Shabba thinks is an important member of the first team.
Squad target was 24 players with us currently at 22. 4 rumoured inbound so i expect 2 out as well unless incoming money has been utilised.
