How can we get the John Gibson buy out back on?

We must as United fans do something now to get this deal happening.

Can we do something to show our support at the game tomorrow?

We have a United fan willing buy ST out. We must rally behind him now. Seize the moment.

What were the two clauses in the deal added at the 11th hour that were so unacceptable to make John Gibson give up?

He is not allowed to say but (guessing) could it be the ex chairman wanted an addition to the share cost if United get promoted this year or maybe a percentage of any transfer money that United get for the sale of any current players.

We need to campaign to get these clauses removed whatever they are and get the Gibson deal back on and over the line now.

Fab ownership gives me the fear, more so after the last few years, and he hasn't exactly said what he will do to plug any gaps etc

A lot of good points about this being made on East futba at the moment

But it's not fan ownership is it. It's a majority share being held by A fan.

Strikes me that we've wanted rid of ST for years then the first UNITED fan that goes public to make an offer gets ripped a new one by United fans???

Although i fully agree with the sentiment of trying to push this over the line, history has proved there is very little we can do as the man holding the shares is proving how hard he is to deal with.

And maybe the American deal is dead because they have the same set of demands in front of them that have killed this latest deal.

Is there any point in a protest where the target of any protest is not likely to be at any given match? Ok it will put pressure on the board members at the match, but how likely is that to in turn remove the demands?

The place to hit him is in the pocket and i think there is only as much as 500-1000 fans left who are likely willing to boycott matchday.

Has he been ripped a new one by us fans? I thought fans were supportive of Mr Gibson and thoroughly p!ssed off with the mystery of yet another delay in getting rid!

Have a read on Tek and also what Shedka and Smedum says. But yes as you say most fans on the forums support the idea of JG buying ST out.

Never underestimate the power of media coverage. If the Directors entrance was besieged by a noisy but behaved crowd before and after every home game it will get coverage. If fans groups could unite as one and coordinate things properly with demonstrations and press releases it will get coverage. If these measures were sustained it might only be a matter of time before MM puts pressure on his mate to be more realistic.

    Support the team, ST out.
