He is a defender, with Championship experience. No fee, so maybe a good addition to the squad?
I'm sure he is coming in to bulk up the numbers. Let's just see if he can step in when needed.

25 year old who can and will get better but a 31 year old journeyman who has no sell on value seems a bit pointless
You say no fee champs but he has a year to run so a fee will still be needed
We have 4 centre backs and Williams who can do the job well
We just don't need to be doing this sort of deal.
