    Herr Stendel's Tarnspeyk Guide

With Herr Stendel not able to speyk to his players due to language issues some Tarnspeyk words and phrases might come in useful to shart from the touchline--

"Shooit"--Perhaps the player should take the opportunity for an effort on goal

"Gerrit Art"--You are being closed down so release the ball forward quickly from defence

"Purra Shift in"-- The player is being a little lazy not tracking his opponent

"Gi 'im a Shart"-- The communication between goalkeeper and defender seems lacking

"Aardi miss that"--That was an easy opportunity that ought to have been taken

"Gerrup"-- Stop faking injury and resume playing

"Aar meni Ref ?"--A number of our opponents appear to be offside

"Weerzi got that frum?"--The number of additional minutes seems excessive

"Aaar much ?"-- On hearing from Goat how small his transfer budget is

Perhaps others have more to help Herr Stendel settle in.

With hardly any of the team coming from Barnsley it might be easier to teach them German

Tarnspeyk is like a common language to learn fo booath players and coaching staff, a bit like that Esperanto. Helps bond wi fans and fo Stendel to order when he's suppin in Garrison. "Allevva pint a Smooth luv anna bagga pooark scratchings" better than "Could I please have a large glass of that beer and a portion of Swine Skin Pieces"

    Nice one Pass.

Herr Stendel wo struggling at Salford on Setdi. Some drunken Tarn chaps behind the goal were singing, "Stendel, Stendel, gi uzza wave , Stendel, gi uzza wave" burri din't understand so din't react resulting in a chorus of boos. One of the English speykin German coaches went ovva and teld him wot the'd sed and he waved to a bout of cheers. When the follow up "Nice wun Stendel, nice wun sun, Nice wun Stendel, lets ev another wun"came same thing append ageean.
