6 fkn weeks you having a laugh?

The key will be when we eventually bin our inept manager and the new one tries to salvage our season.

I know it's early days but already I have the fear. He's a fkn disaster.

As i said at Brechin i wasn't impressed in the slightest but need to give them a chance, mostly new faces who have hardly played together on whats only our second competitive match?

Far far far too early to be writing anything off.

For the record i do not give a single f uck about the cup games, league cup or Scottish cup. A run would be good financially but seriously so f uck, lets just concentrate on getting out this league!
Agreed, I understand folk are itching to get going but it was treated as a friendly rightly or wrongly. Can't see this being a representation of how we'll play when the season fully starts

Easy to say OA and i couldnt care less if we lost every cup game but won the league. True statement! BUT what if we are still just well err ****e?? same formation same dross so far even friendlies i know. Wet saturdays in Greenock and Alloa watching this again?

I dont give a fcuk either but a healthy dose of scepticism is to be expected.

Oh and pt arbroath without 4 key players bullying us!!!?? mmm sounds familiar. Lets see.

I somehow don't think we're good enuf to pick and choose the games we win or lose unless we purposely play the under 18s in some of the 'bigger' ones.

Surely winning breeds confidence and sends out a message to the opposition so we must set up to win every game no matter the personnel.

I cannot for the life of me accept that the Arbroath game was treated as a friendly. The Scottish League Cup is a major Scottish football tournament. A near brand spanking new team should have been desperate to hit the ground running and make an impression. All the excuses put forward to explain away the poor performance are very, very worrying. If major cup tournaments are to be treated as of little value, then my money is best spent elsewhere.

    Treated as a friendly? No.

I paid good money to watch one up front against err Arbroath at home and we lost.

The manager thinks we should have played quicker. ffs.

Has anyone said anything about treating it as a friendly? It was definitely being used as a pre-season match to get players up to speed, subtly different.

Hast thou not considered affshore?? Also, what is the difference between a friendly and a pre-season match to get players up to speed?

THIS was a cup tie in one of two major competitions that we can compete in this season!

In a friendly the manager won't be bothered if we win or not. I haven't seen anything to suggests that was the case for Saturday.

So why do treat the opening game of a major cup tournament as a pre-season match when it isn't. If our players are not up to speed for the opening game of the season, why is this?
