    What is happening

    Dyche comments

“I've had conversations with the chairman and the chief executive today, we’re down the road with a couple of people but nothing that’s going to be news tonight.”
"We’re not going to sign someone for the sake of it, that wouldn’t be good practice. It would be helpful to get players in earlier because they can bond with the group and get used to how I like the fitness levels and how we want the team, but the market is the market."
“Ideally you get your numbers in early but we all know how hard that is, clubs way bigger than Burnley are struggling to get their numbers in early because of the way the market Is, we’re not on our own.”
“We know we must register players by Friday, July 20th to feature in the first leg at Pittodrie on Thursday, July 26, but I won't force through deals just to have players available.”

This is clearly frustrations at the board not being proactive enough. Come on you movers and shakers get your finger out you might be in danger of losing our most successful manager of recent times.

SD knows the score, he is a fully grown up adult and he has bought into our philosophy. A bloody good job he makes of it too!

It's looking good, if we go to Pittodrie with an under-cooked, under strength squad, we could get well and truly turned over. Fingers crossed, with any luck we could be out of this joke competition on August 2nd.

Unfortunately sinkov even an under-cooked, under strength Clarets squad will beat Aberdeen!

Yeah just like an under-cooked under strength Burnley side would beat league two Accy Stanley and non league Lincoln.

I do appreciate that SD is grown up enough, but being late to the party this year means anyone who is signed will not be up to speed or be ready to be integrated into our culture and ways for our team. I would say whoever is signed (if any) will not be able to play any part of the Aberdeen games. The longer this goes on the more it will take to integrate.

Sorry Lancaster, but to quote Catherine Tate, "Face. Bothered!"

We are evolving and the squad is improving. Our second string will see off Aberdeen, but SD will play his best available eleven, of that I am sure!
