It's true Acido, although we did bid a million for a player. Our manager who has a good eye for potential took Chris Wood out of West Brom's reserves on loan and at the end made his offer.

However although Wood loved playing for the Lions and wanted to sign his father his agent took him to Leeds because of the bigger salary. As you know Leeds got £15 lmillion for him from Burnley.

I agree Alf, and yet when you signed him there were a lot of doubters on your board, so I posted that he would come good after watching him down the Den and so it has proved.
