Perhaps he is ensuring that the club is doesn't go bankrupt, perhaps not. When he bought the club there was around 70-80million debt with players still being paid for on the never-never. However the debt seems to have doubled to 140million present day.

When you consider the cultural significance of NUFC to the people & the city of Newcastle. The Park, St James' stadium stands on was a gift from the city to the football club, it is the very heart beat of the Geordie nation.

I am sure the people of Blackburn feel the same pain with regard to the Vankies who have destroyed their club over the last few years.

My question is, do other people think that if we all put some money together in a 'kick starter' / 'fund raiser' we could sue the FA & Premier League for their negligence in green-lighting the sale of our clubs to people who have no emotional connection or understand of what the club(s) mean to the people?

My thought is that a law suit of say £50 Billion would definitely peak the interest of some seriously heavy weight legal firms & cause a huge amount of controversy in the national media.

The issue is that we sit passive while our clubs & our identity is ripped from us.

OK, what's the plan then ? If I thought for an instant that it would work I'd be the first one to donate to it.

The plan would be to engage the services of a law firm, preferably a (local) firm who's staff are NUFC fans or (a London based firm) who are known to have a disdain for Ashley due to other dealings.

I'm sure the man has plenty of enemies due the way he conducts his business.

    so:

Point 1 - Kick starter - raise some cash - £5000 for example - get the ball rolling

Point 2 a- Set up a group of 3-5 people to share the management of the project - sound out legal firms etc - feedback info to stakeholders/kick starter community

Point 2 b - make as much noise about it as possible to drum up support, financially & politically, make it really public and mess - just the way Ashley hates it

Point 3 - Seek Legal Council - wrong through angles of legality, business dealings & PL laws and regulations

Point 4 - Look to work with Staveley &/or other investors to pile on more pressure whilst the bad publicity keeps Ashley and SD in the public eye

Point 5 - He sells up - The legal team find something which they can take to court

I mean the man is still awaiting charges from the HMRC regarding dodgy practices which could see the club hit with a huge fine! Surely this is more than enough for any legal firm with their salt to start picking away and the mans integrity!

However I'm just spit balling here, Happy to listen to others opinions, so long as they are constructive - Not the incoherent jabberings of that Pen!s Breath from Peterborough for example

Like your style Rag and your effort. To me the thing he'd hate the most is being put down in public by known celebrities, e.g. Ant / Dec who have already come out against him. Don't know who else would speak up against him though.

They have to think up something desperately corny or they'd be forever licking their wounds.
