While spitting is disgusting no sure about your double standards...can't remember anyone ever getting the jail for it...I know he has previous convictions...but £200 compy 200 hours community service and a tag across the weekend seems excessive to me when you think of lesser punishment that court has handed out for more serious crimes...let's face it nobody got hurt

They may as well say "thug Paul McGowan likes tomato soup" he may do but no relevance to the story.

They also never use descriptions like that for some of their ex columnists or other favoured sporting sons and daughters who have got themselves in a bit of bother.

DCT has previous and the standard at the Tele in particular is quite frankly appalling.
