He is indeed mate, he writes murder mysteries about Alex Cross an ex FBI agent who is a psychologist and works on murder cases. I also like Lee Child who writes about Jack Reacher a former MP in the US.

I was in a boozer last night and someone put this on the Juke Box. Firstly I was amazed it was on the Juke Box and then amazed at this lass who started getting all irate shouting "who the **** put this on" over and over. I read Peter James ,Graham Masterton and Neil white.all crime writers . Peter James books all have the title "dead " in them and are based around Brighton.. Neil White is based in Lancashire around Pendle and the best author of them all is Graham Masterton who writes detective novels based in Cork.. Thoroughly recommend the Masterton ones if you like a good crime book .. Lee child and Patterson are very good too..

I also read Clice Cussler adventure novels in between the crime ones ..

My brother in law has most of Peter James books due to the Brighton connection but I read one and it wasn't for me.
