A costly mistake to let him stay it will be even more costly come October. But could a manager do something with this squad?
Aird and Clark were decent for Dunfermline.
The ex Partick guys are decent for this league.
We’ve got Fyvie to come back and Stanton in midfield.
Glass a star in the making.
No reason why with a competent manager we can’t win promotion.
But there’s the problem- a competent manager.

    You dont seem to be.
Sometimes a fair crack at the whip has to be earned. Csaba has done nothing to deserve that. This particular fire couldve been put out at the end of last season. It wasnt, and now its spreading.
Dont think there has ever been such clear and legible writing on the wall.
Yet we carry on with the clown, just hoping some magic falls out his arse and we suddenly become a football team, as if he is some kind of hungarian leprechaun football grand master and we just cant see it yet.

No saying I'm wanting him but what about Martin Canning?

IMO keeping Hamilton up for the past whatever years is a remarkable achievement. He's a manager that always seems to go a bit under the radar because he's never won a cup or taken them to the top 6, but every season he defies the odds and keeps Hamilton up.

Cheaper option than Tommy Wright and maybe less of a gamble than Hopkins.

Ideally someone who likes pace, width, aggression, attacking football with 2 strikers playing off each other.
Someone the fans buy into and get behind straight away.
Someone who gets the players fit and ready before competitive football starts would also be a plus.
Bump and no apology for it either. 18TH of July I said we should be searching for the next manager and having him in place. Some of the replies are interesting to look back on and #13 from Mr Brightside brings us right up to date.

I'm so sick of our clubs predicament its sad to see or even think about....said it in other posts basically led by eejits!

have seen slabbers team only twice in action(mates still attend) and there is def some decent players in our squad....the results show its not working.. he aint getting his point over....sort it board or deal with the consequences.

Not trying to be bitching, just reminding folk how long this has been going on for and there was every reason for a new manager to be ready and waiting, unveiled straight away. That isn't breaking Laszlo's contract, that's good business planning. Results didn't suddenly get bad in August. As Shedka rightly says they've been bad for a year and the Board must have realised they might have to make a change. Lets see what happens next.
