    I thought 31mill for the Chelsea keeper courtous was a obcene amout,but 66 mill for a a Brazilian from Liverpool.and we sold foster for a mere 3mill.

    Hi 68. Liverpool have now agreed fee of £10m for their back up keeper Ward .

    Indicative of the madness that is more extreme by the day, it would seem. Spiralling transfer fees, players taking it upon themselves (no doubt with a little assistance and support) to effectively tell their employers that they can stuff their contracts. Whatever next? God knows.

    Close Season Transfer Window actually makes it worse, and I don't know why the FA can't recognise that. Clubs absolutely panic in July, causing ridiculous Inflation.
