    Ashley is tight but

How much do you think an established striker who has scored 20 plus goals in a season in the Prem would cost.

I think £50 million plus and £100,000 a week in wages would be a starting point.

I think the alternative is a young prospect or an unknown from abroad

    o

I agree mate there’s no way Fatty would pay that kind of cash anyway

So a young prospect at £10 million will be the way we go

I think we are in the bracket of needing a striker that will get you 10/15 goals a season .And for hay we are going to have to break the transfer record at the club .A 50 million pound striker would be a waste here tbh .he'd be away after 1 season or we wouldn't be able to attract one anyway.like it or not we are in the third bracket of our league ,you've got top 6 middle teams that spend and try to get in top 6 then you have relegation candidate.

Not many owners in our position would be able to afford a 20 goal a season striker

It makes me laugh when they compare us to clubs who can and do

Rafa will have his scouts finding us gems I'm sure

    Don't worry

A premier league team that made an absolute fortune last year

    West ham are doing it

    Fulham are doing it

    Brighton are doing it

    So why can't we??

Of course Brighton, West Ham and Fulham are doing it. They haven't been lumbered by having an Ashley on their backs sucking blood out of the club for 11 years.

Would mitro with say 35 games score 20?
Has he more or less chance of doing this than Joselu ?
Selling him makes less and less sense the more you think about it .

I know the theory of he doesn't fit into Benitez style of play .. So why bother with a striker ?
