Good player, but if we're paying over £3m that's over the top.

Right footed, not a JOC replacement. Not that I'd rule out JOC being sold.

More likely to replace Stearman. Will be equally comfortable RCB or CB.

Hopefully he'll help us cut out the soft goals.

If we're spending £3m+ on a CB I'd like to think that means we have plenty left for attacking players. We'll see.

i think bashams place will be under threat if we land egan be a cracking signing lots seem negative about stearman but for me hes very solid however if were splashing 3m plus on him cant see anything else but us bringing loans in up front

I'd expect him to replace basham stearman was decent last season and we missed him when he wasn't there

I also think he’ll replace Bash but then Bash could go across to wingback. We need a dominant header of the ball in the centre and when that has been Stearman he has sometimes got bullied. Agree though that he is quick enough and reads the game very well.
For me it will be Egan central with Jack and Stears either side.
    Sounds good to me!

quality signing imo and he will be handy on set pieces and corners (that is of course if we get any decent corners in to the box ) will definetly make us more solid at the back

Agree this is a good signing especially under the circumstances. Wilder will have us ready and competitive I have no doubt of that, can’t wait.

Based on what we’ve leaned in the last few days, the reported fee seems unbelievable.
