At the moment he's unemployed though and has got two relegations on his CV which doesn't look good for future employment with clubs who have the resources to pay £10-20k a week.

So is he to hang up his boots or accept a contract with us in the absence of any other offers.
Who knows what we've negotiated but say £3.5k a week on a two year deal is over a third of a million pounds.
