    Paudie OConnor on Loan

Shame & a little surprised, that he was loaned out so quickly - but MB knows best!
He may be raw, lacking in experience, but showed end of last season, enough allround potential to have been in or around first team squad pre-season or until possible new recruits appear etc.
Even more strange, after reading that Kalvin Phillips has been playing / training at CB, never know we may see Anita / OKane as the new striker partnership.

was also a bit surprised about this loan. thought last season he did enough to be considered for this season. understandable if we bought 2 new CBs but at the minute we are short there. Is Conor shaughnessy still out injured or is he ahead of O'Connor in pecking order?? LB still needed as well.

Don't mention the C word . Personally I hope Conor Shaughnessy never pulls on the white shirt again . Absolutely hopeless , theses a reason reading binned him off. Not good enough ...

TBH I thought he did ok when given the chance. still alot to learn obviously but played ok considering he's been a CM most of his young career. still plenty of room for development.

Stranger things have happened i guess but at 22 i doubt it. The debut, giving away a pen after no time at all. The shocker against Newport including an own goal. The horrendous defending against Wolves which lead to him being injured in November for the rest of the season! Id rather resign Ľubomír Michalík...

haha michalik... still anyone can score an og it happens, whole team was crap against Newport. peno was niave alright all part of a learning curve for a new CB. apart from them 2 incidents, which cooper does 3-4 times a season he was solid for a young player learning new position. he's far better on the ball than cooper or berardi. what bout his assist against ipswich. bielsa looking for ball playing defenders. with the right coaching he could do that job.
