Glad he's getting plenty of money, certainly deserves it.

    Roooooooney!

He’s been brilliant & used properly could’ve been even better.

Hope he enjoys his retirement down there. He’s earned it

He'll go with everyone's best wishes.
    88 goals, pretty much a 1 in 2 striker.
    Excellent signing.
Should never have been 3rd choice to the other two strikers we have, or laughably, played out wide.

The silence then the sound of the ball hitting the next at Parkred to win the penalty shoot out was fantastic.

    Good luck in Manchester

Some on here will say he only scored goals however that’s the aim of the game
Right on - did exactly what his job description said - score goals

He wasn't used in his best position some of the time - and i would prefer he stayed here - but it happens.

Good luck to him - hope he got a good deal with this Salford mob

    Massive year for Stevie May

I prefer the goal against Hibs in the semi at 40-odd seconds. The bus I got into Edinburgh that day to get the supporters bus was rammed with Hibs fans all asking each other who they wanted in the final, preceded by all the "Cummings banter" a few days before. They were no doubt still full of it right up until KO, then "KAPOW!"

It’s funny that for years and years everyone was saying “if only we had a striker who could score goals “ then once we had one some complained he was shyte because “all he does is score goals “

I expect there will be a fair amount of 0-0 draws at Pittodrie this season.

Only Griffiths has scored more goals in the Premiership than Rooney, kind of shows what kind of club we are becoming.
Good luck in the future loon!!!

What gives you this unfounded confidence in our defence?
