    Adam Rooney

Some may not be surprised but I am, his goal scoring record has been good. Maybe McInnes feels he doesn’t fit in with his style, but I for one am sad to see him go.
Any idea of the fee??? I hope we done ok out of the deal financially

    I very much doubt it.

Frees up wages for us to get someone in from chesterfield or similar.
Some on here will say he only scored goals however that’s the aim of the game

Thanks and good luck Rooney. A modern day legend. Prolific scorer and the best penalty taker we have ever had...maybe even in Scotland.

A great signing by Mcinnes then hung out to dry on the left wing over the last year or two.

Glad he's getting plenty of money, certainly deserves it.

Undisclosed is the fee. We sell the best striker in a generation and we arent even told how much for

All the best Rooney. You would have had more goals if our manager wasnt a fud

    Nae amused you are gone

All I can say here is McInnes better have somebody good lined up to replace him. Thats if we even bother to replace him. Nothing surprises me just another symptom of how badly the club is run.

Undisclosed fees. Loving the transparency. I doubt this is to keep clubs in the dark regards our spending power, but rather to keep the paying fan in the dark. Can't be having the punters doing the sums. Expect a loanee!

Aye same here. Gutted he has gone. Can’t see Stevie May getting the amount of goals he did.
Someone will be out of contract at Cheltenham who will replace him..

My youngest son can’t believe Rooney is being let go/sold. For a while when I was taking him to matches Rooney always seemed to score and my son thought he was magic because of it.
Rooney was a very decent striker but not the left winger that McInnes desired in the end.
He will be missed as a striker.
