Well the signs are positive but I’m really confused about this fair play stuff as does this mean even though we’ve got some rich part owners with loads of dosh that we still can’t sign any players ??

We have till March to comply and at worst will get fined. Carry on spending and pay the fine....

Truth! Bournemouth got £5M, a small price to pay for the "promised land" of top flight football.

This FFP is a stupid rule, you spend money, you fall foul of the cash limit, your told youve spent too much but you cannot pay it back quick enough so the anwer is to be fined more money adding to the already financial woes.makes sense, not!
Its like standing on someones head when their drowning and ssying " this is for your benifefit..
I think as long as the owners underwrite the debt you should be allowed to spend whatever, it hasnt stopped man cityeh spending 1.5 billion to get where they are!

All this rule does is keep the so called bigger teams at the top and everyone else in check and the foot firmly on the head.

Well it looks like the purse strings are being tightened unless these new investors have a different plan and the likes of Terry and others could get a recall?

Cheers WCV its what has now made the Premiership predictable and in my eyes, boring. At least the championship is unpredictable and exciting for the purist!
Yes we want to be back there and at least we have serious backers so the old saying goes "if you cant beat them join them"

I agree TD - the PL is a competitive league for a handful of teams which is more than can be said for Spain & Germany. If the standard of football were better in the Championship it'd be the icing on the cake!
