Sceptical but dare we dream ..........

Could we be on the verge of being sold. Allegedly our esteemed owner is in talks with a Middle Eastern Group.

The Birmingham Mail claim that a bid from a Middle Eastern group has been made to take over control of the club, in what is said to be a potential two stage deal which will lead to an eventual takeover.

It is reported that talks have been ongoing and that they have reached an advanced stage, with a deal close to being agreed between Xia and the proposed suitors.

With an agreement seemingly on the brink, Villa fans finally have something to celebrate – not only the prospect of the club finally leaving their financial difficulties behind them but the fact someone else could be in charge, with Xia’s running of the Villans the reason they have ended up where they are in the first place.

Just copied this paragraph if you are interested it’s all over News Now.

Sceptical like I said but you never know. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

The Mail's track record isn't great and it's the hope that kills ya

FFP restricts us but maybe just maybe we can find a way to keep super Jack - here's hoping

I'd have thought Jack would be sold before any takeover mate. New owners wouldn't want to start off as the 'Big Bad Wolf' by selling him on the 1st day. Then again the Dr Evil will surely cash in for a cool '100 million dollars', before going on to complete his devilish master plan for World domination.

    Breaking news on Sky.

Villa announce two businessmen Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens to inject significant investment into the club. Xia will remain on the Villa Board as Co-Chairman.

Still a fair size bigger than WBA to be fair.

Let's hope we tell Spurs to do one now and we get on the phone to Terry and ask him to come back for one more season.

Well that does appear to be good news.

Not sure I fully understand this Fair Play malarkey but I’m thinking falling foul of it would mean a fine and points deduction. Question is..... would it be worth taking this hit if it means keeping the squad together particularly the retention of Grealish?
