Looks like it will take time getting used to this 3/3/1/3 formation and I don't know if we have the players to implement it. The 3 at the back looked so open, without others tracking back. Better teams than York could annihilate us. The high press was successful in winning back the ball in their half many times, though once we'd won it back failed to do anything with it against a packed defence. I fear decent counter attacking teams with pace upfront will be our undoing.

Feel a bit for the lads that played for us. Almost impossible to look good in that mish-mash of a team with two full backs and a midfielder in a back 3 + the mess in the other positions.
Would like to see Klich, Ideguchi and Baker in particular playing in a team that is at least something resembling a first 11 whereas this was almost like university days where you just chucked out anyone who could play that morning to make up numbers.

I remember those days of footy at school though Cal, we were all the original Wimbledon as kids werent we, absolute kick and rush, and no refs or offsides etc. What would happen in the poncey Premship if they went by those rules now!.
Btw, I see Bradford are having a shocking pre season so far, are many of the Bantams fans getting worried already ?.
