Personally I would much rather have Joao than Waghorn. He has something we really need pace,tricky, unpredictability and that ability to change a game and make things happen. Obviously not on those wages but he will have to reduce those in 12 months anyway. He should look longer term than 12 months but as usual it will be an agent pulling his strings, parasites.
Now his contract's expiring I think Joao will have a good season, score 15+ and maybe even get a PL move.
