Well we've played 2 games Joel with 2 different squads so the numbers are there if not the quality. Perhaps over the next few games we'll see a team merging together and theres still a couple who havn't played yet. Plus, bad as our recruitment is, there's bound to be some fresh faces who want to join us.
And the key words there are 'want to'
    In Bielsa we trust.

Did you see the second squad? That isn't a second 11 it is just 11 players, it isn't even about quality, it is about having actual players to play in those positions. I'm ignoring the fact our first 11 isn't even good enough as it stands never mind the woeful lack of depth in 4 positions!

Think i read somewhere that we had shipped out 11 players so far, so you would like to think that someone in the club reckons that what we've kept is better.
But i agree, it's hard to keep a glass half full at the minute.

What we've shipped out shouldn't really matter, they weren't good enough.

Problem is that what we have isn't good enough either.

What we need is quality additions regardless of who we've got rid of and 5/6 of them which is looking increasingly unlikely.

They may not be "good enough" but some played in the nonsense that was our latter season, and.we haven't sold any (apart from letting Lassogga go), that were.instrumental in getting us to the top of the division by Christmas. So, if the sh1t has gone and the gosd remains, why can't that good stuff be.expected to perform as they did first half of last season (and beyond)?

Just to add my Tuppence worth on the subject.

I, like many of you are concerned with the lack of activity in this transfer window. Rumour had it, that we had a war chest of 20 million and so far haven't dipped our fingers in. NewsNow, has been awash with so many rumours of we are looking at so and so, but it mainly just bloggers looking for traffic from the ER faithful.

The end of last season was like football had been coached out of the players and it didn't even look like we had a Plan A. We seem to have a plan this season with a fluid approach to the game and if Bielsa and his staff can coach the players to adapt to this system then I think we will be hard to play against. Do we need more quality in the squad? Of course. But it isn't all doom and gloom yet. A lot will depend on the coaching department and getting the players to play with confidence and trusting each other ability.
