    Rooney to Salford City

I thought that the money in the Premier League was madness until I saw that Adam Rooney has swooped Aberdeen for Salford City for a reported £4000 a week wage, that's bonkers money for a club their size, they are obviously going for broke for promotion this year but when a club as big as Aberdeen can't keep hold of one of their players to an English conference side then where is it going to end?

We had him on loan and he wasn't all that so I'm quite shocked at this

We won 0-1 in a friendly at Salford Fc last week, and I reckon they will be looking to win promotion to Lg Two within the next 2/3 seasons.

A lot of betting sites already have them as favorites to go up automatically with odds at around 9/4,I can see them 'buying' the title this season but it will be interesting to see how they cope in League 2 with all of the pay restrictions

I see you like a joke coco but he wasn't any great shakes here. I do accept that he has been more of an assett at Dons.
