You appear to think this is a soft thing to do. So young Mister Booth, let's assume that you are working full time, have a contract of employment and are a member of a trade union. Again let us assume that you are carrying out duties in accordance with your contract and although you obey all health and safety regulations you lose a leg when a saw you are working on throws a wobbly. Obviously you would refuse your employer's offer to continue paying your full salary and for your treatment until you are fully recovered and fit to resume your duties?

but would I be able to resume my duties?
does my duties require 2 legs?
if I'm in the same spot the accident happened would I be able to have a hour and look for the leg I have lost?
