Yep that font of all knowledge Sheffield Star confirms so must be right.

Seems a sound signing to me.

He seemed to be average in the Premier league and not greatly loved by a lot of the Sunderland fans if Twitter is anything to go off, but should be solid in the Championship, very pleased with this signing

Welcome to Rotherham United Mr Jones

Young, athletic, green tea drinker? Maybe we have changed our policy 😉

Jones is same age as Messi.

Ronaldo is older, so are Iniesta and Modric

You need a fitness age not a calendar age in football that matches or is better than the league you play in.

Liking green tea and vegan barbecues is a bonus.

Hope this is the only player we gonna be singing we make over 30 otherwise we are gonna make the same mistake the last time we went up having years of no progress and end up having to rebuild a full squad again in a few years time. Young hungry players is the only way forward for a club like us being a small fish in a big pond. Brentford and Preston seem to have figured it out, we need to go the same route.

We need to survive the first season back and slowly introduce the younger ones.

That plan is only good if we survive the first season but imo we should be trying to sign young hidden talents from divisions below now whilst we have got championship status, we won't be nowhere as attractive if we go down again.

These young hungry player, if they are any good we can’t afford them, if they need coaching at the moment we have not got the time. Our priority is to stay up & in the championship you will not do it with just young hungry players.

There's always exceptions, but mostly you need the right mix of youth and experience. But this seems an excellent signing that we would of been daft not to make.
