    When? Will we? Could we?

What a shambles. It looks we are going to be standing still this season. It is a complete joke not signing anyone yet, even though we have a European opportunity. If we start badly then every one will be looking at each other and be pointing fingers at each other - its your fault, no it isn't its your fault or is it your fault - whilst the fans will be saying I told you so. Of course I really do hope we get some in before the window closes but it looks increasingly like we will not. Does anyone know who, if anyone, we might get in? Any good guesses would at least calm some of the nerves.

I hope by August 9, but have no idea who! I suppose if we at least have our full squad back that (took us up to 4th) back in action then it could still be exciting.
The other question is who might go before that date. So far nothing seems to be happening there but it only takes a club to lose a keeper or midfielder for our players to come in focus.

Rodriguez, Clucas and Mawson are being chased down and I would be totally delighted if they come off.

Not Bothered?? I know he has to do the PR thing, but he should be... It'll only take a bad start to the season and all of last years work will be down the swanny... Everyone will soon get restless, and The feel good factor will soon evaporate...

I am a little worried that the players we seem to be chasing are at clubs that were relegated. They were part of it, so are they really that desirable? Why not throw a bit more at a want-away striker from a stronger club? If 20m is the price, then that's what we should pay to score a 'winning' style of player such as Danny Ings. Pride seems to be a sticking point for going out and getting him back. I guarantee that if he goes to Southampton or Newcastle he will emerge as their prime striker.
