    What a shambles!

Four out of five penalties missed absolute shambles, and we had only one shot on target in game, Forwards should be hanging their heads in shame.

A bad day and potentially a very costly one.

Perspective should be kept but a big improvement needed quickly.

15 shots only one on target in ninety minutes, several needing shooting and penalty taking practise now need a must win on Tuesday night and if we play like we did today the win won’t be forth coming. Absolutely no positives from today

That was an absolute abomination of a performance today. Motherwell SHOULD be beating Stranraer, not clinging on for dear life then losing on penalties to them.

After last season's Cup heroics we are back to being hopeless in the Cups and I fully expect QoS to all but eliminate us on Tuesday night now.

    Not good enough Motherwell.

That's the first lower league side we've failed to beat in the LC since the groups were reintroduced - so it's hardly back to anything.

QotS will be flying when they arrive at Fir Park though, any complacency and anything less than our best will indeed see us bumped.

There was one positive - our 'keeper saved three Stranraer penalties. The fact that we failed to win the shoot - out says it all! If there was a plan to our play, it wasn't working.
On an entirely selfish level, we have to win on Tuesday; I live about 20 minutes from Palmerston

Queen of the South can afford to draw with us on Tuesday night even if we were to win on penalties the maximum points we could obtain would be nine and they would be on ten points. Tuesday now a must win game. Players cannot live off of last years two final appearances this is a new season with new goals to achieve

They will indeed. Lets turn that into a positive and lets hope that they go into the game as favourites, as they surely should be.

It's only one game and no need to panic at the moment. We didn't play well at all yesterday but it's still very early in the season. If it carries on in the next game and the next after that we will have a problem this season.
