Only one answer to this. In view of there being technical problems with a plane which should have had them in Aberdeen by 4 o'clock ---in other words---in plenty of time, they need to train up a couple of players as aircraft mechanics so that they can deal with these problems if they occur again.

They could have been scheduled to leave this morning and still not have made it in time if the plane was U/S.

So when you charter a plane you always check that there is a back up? I don't think so because you expect that the one you have chartered will be serviceable and leave on time. In this case, it didn't so the company who own the plane should carry the can and if the Club are fined then the charter company should be responsible for the payment of the fine.

It is not the fine that"s the problem,...It"s the waiting for enough cancellations on Easy Jet to get the squad on.
