I'm sure Alan ( in knowing him) would like any advantage going for him. Show the passion that the young boys are doing now. Queens people - lets do it

Queens should name the East Stand after him.

Nice touch by Allan's family with the request for the mourners at the service to wear Queen of the South colours

An emotional but uplifting send - off for big Bally at the superb new Baptist Church in Dumfries which was jammed packed with
100s of friends and fans many in the Royal Blue of Queen of the South. Many of Bally's team - mates from the 1970s were in
attendance - Ian Reid, Chopper Dickson etc and many other Ex - Doonhamer players Billy McLaren, Ches, Stuart Cochrane, Giro
George, Bill Sim, Kevin Hetherington, Ian Mitchell - the list goes on and on. Great credit must go to Bally's son Keith for a his
outstanding tribute which fully deserved the loud applause from the mourners.

Can’t add much more to that, asit was indeed a memorable send off for the Queens legend and nothing less than expected. Amongst the numerous former Queens men, it was also nice to see the likes of Ian McCall and Lee Robinson in attendance.
Tribute number two to follow on Saturday.

Sounds like a fitting send off for Mr QoS himself and great to hear of those former players turning up in numbers to show their respect for the great man.
