    Alex Mowatt

Are any fans on here still interested in Alex's future, because he surely is/was a popular and impressive former Leeds youngster ?.
Well I and a few of us 'Tykes' still rate the kid and touch wood, he seems to be part of our new coaches ideas and he could finally find a way with us, to resurrect his career. Did any of you think he was destined for the top, or was he always one of those kids who looked like he was just going to blow out, and fall down the leagues etc ?.

(ps - Yes ok, some of us might have already argued about this subject on here, a few years ago lol. But this is a clean sheet now isnt it in the year of 2018, so come on lads lets have a good old sensible Yorkie club/player mass-debate this time. )

Very good player Acido with a rare ability to strike a ball very sweetly. if he had more pace I think he could would have the potential to be a top player.

also the sort of player you could build a team around but sadly we never did.

hope he does well wherever he goes as always did well for us.

Unfortunately, you can't hide the lack of pace at this level. even the best foot/shot is neutralized if you can't get open to take it. Definitely a player the opposition had to stay on top of but could be taken out of a game.

of course, considering some of our players that had/have pace but could never put on net or an effective pass some question if we'd have been better off keeping him.

Mowatt was too slow + his positional awareness and 'footballing brain' wasn't good enough. Not particularly good with his feet either.

He has a great shot on him and can pick a pass but that isn't enough at Championship level.

Liked the lad but was never good enough and will most likely be a Championship/League one player who scores the odd belter.

Yes but only if you were allowed to bring him on for corners and free kicks, and then take him off again for a rest.

Im guessing then that you didn't, or rather don't rate him then eh Bill ?. lol
Tbh, I don't think he did that well last season during his loan spell at Oxford in Lg One, and I think we're making a gamble here in giving him one final chance. Fingers crossed though, that he will finally step forward and show that he can live up to his potential.

Be ok at LG1 Acido..expect him to get a few goals and assists at that level..probably his level in truth.
