Oh, aye, they did and they were raw and powerful but I think the hype that surrounded them was more about how folk wanted something different from what was round at the time...Britpop was just a bit too arsey, trying too hard and Oasis took it back to basics.

I was more into the American indie stuff than Britpop.
This lot were me favourite...went to see them at Whitley Bay last month and then in Glasgow 2 nights later.
