What about Ellis? Another 100% record then bins us for Csaba?

    Csaba by a country mile

Mixu was dreadful but at least took us on a Scottish Cup run to Hampden where we lost on pens, Ross County away in QF losing 2-1 with ten men and winning it in last min was the highlight of the season, our support was immense and went phuckin mental, up there with the best cup away days (and we have had many of those)

McKinnon shouldnt be on the list as he wasn't that bad, done alright to build a team after relegation and was 45 mins and a stonewall pen not given from promotion first time round

Jackie definitely shouldn't be on it as his time with us was 80% brilliant times and record brilliant plus some of the best performances, best results and best memories I'll have as a United fan, pity how it ended but that was in part to do with Thompson as well selling those players when he did

Good point RAM, and perhaps the club should consider getting shot of Ellis completely, Nae point having a 100 percenter lurking around upsetting mediocrity, it must be destabilising for the players and the rest of coaching staff.

What I would say about this thread is this: the Transfer Windows had a lot to do with the managers and the team being awful. No Transfer Windows and the managers may have had better luck, as it with these Transfer Windows still in place its the fans that get the rough justice. FIFA and UEFA just look after the big clubs, dinnae give a toss about the smaller clubs who get their star players bought just before the deadline, thus leaving them high and dry with fans who bought season tickets, short changed.

I dont think that is as big a problem as it was just a few months ago. And who is there that may be worth a few quid just now? I would hazard a guess that, once all the newest signings are discounted, the only players worth anything are...

Stanton, well know he doesnt train with the rest of the squad
Robson, if someone wanted him, he would not have signed up so early in the closed season.
Glass, I hope our new board and chairman would not sell him.

After that, of the ones apparently told they can leave, we will get nothing for Scobbie and Edje, with Keatings and McMullan where we might get a tiny fee for.

    1. Csaba
    2. Jackie. Inherited a lot of good young players but ultimately he was a massive dud
    3. Mixu. Hopeless
    4. Ray did ok. Unlucky not go up in first season. The football was brutal 75% of time

tin hat - Jackie brought some of the best football i had seen at united since the 80s. Then his greed probably clouded his ambition as a manager.

scottish cup final was pathetic. But Csaba, Mixu, Jackie, ray. Although Rays football was dire lets be honest.

Mixu was an idiot and made some terrible decisions, playing Morris at wing back in a national cup semi being one, waiting 6 months on a sh1te keeper, pongolle, Gunning, his rant about the players after the poppy dodger game etc. Mixu made a chunt of it and had plently time to turn it around, even though we were getting beat football on display wasnt that bad

Csaba, brutal to watch, absolutely horrendous, everyone back at corners, Lyng, the Rabbit, his interviews. Not got a f ucking clue and in true eastie style i will eat a lampost if he gets us promoted. Football by far the worst ever ever witnessed

Jackie, prick. end of. Had the players at his disposal, achieved absolute f uck all. Under achieved massively, signed pish like Bodul, Khul etc. f ucking prick of a man, pishhead along with Jackson and Donnelly and the pish keeper chunt Craig

Ray, football was poor, but no where near as bad as Csaba. Toshney, few dutch guys all poor players.
