Well said . This club is special to all of us . Lets hope we can rally the public and get more through the gate . The young ones making a racket is a good start . Dundee United at hone should be rocking.

https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...queen-12962304 How fitting that that in his final swansong , Alan Ball had asked his son Keith how Queens had got on.

i vividly remember Alan Ball at Love Street (Saint Mirren) with a sign showing he was making his 300 or 500th appearance for Queens. I'm sure we won 5-0 that day?

Pretty sure it was his 500th. I have a ' cutting ' somewhere of Allan coming out amidst a ruck of players and claiming the ball in mid-air in that game.

It was indeed 5-0 in Spring 1976, I think, when we were on a fantastic run of form and beating everyone apart from Rangers in Cup QF - they blew us away 5-0 - which was hugely disappointing after the heroic win against Ayr in the previous round.

We looked doomed by November '75 then 'Peter the Great' arrived and our season was transformed and we finished comfortably mid-table.

Great memories there Nithvalley. He was a remarkable goalkeeper and a real character off the pitch. Allan will be sadly missed by many people

I was wondering if anyone had any footage of him playing. Mr Goo or Alex Wilson perhaps
