I’ve just read that there is a possibility Gayle may be used as a make weight in the Rondon deal. Offered Aaron’s but they aren’t interested. Looking like Mitro will be off so that would leave Rondon (who I get the impression no one wants and Joselu. That just CANNOT happen.

Thing is if we are getting Rondon, which it looks like we are, and Mitro goes we won’t be getting another striker. At least Gayle’s got some prem experience and ended last season scoring (although I completely agree he is more a chimpo player.) Getting rid would be suicidal.

You will get excited about Rondon if sitting next to the visiting supporters when he shoots to try and catch the ball! That's if he does not get tackled first!

On the positive side - he's a nice chap and good at signing the kids autographs!
