Thread: A statue for Rafa

    A statue for Rafa

Should be put up in the city centre if he keeps us up this season considering the terrible working conditions he has had to put up with .But no matter if he keeps us up or we get relegated he can leave knowing he has honoured his contract .

Rafa has done a lot of good things for us during his time here. A statue would be over the top for me, but he deserves credit for sticking with us thus far. And, of course, the results he has achieved here. This is why, aside from his general conduct and class, I like him as our manager; he's not just a great name in football, he has actually already achieved things here.

But Mark Hughes is a better manager.

I can see trouble ahead. Reading the thread ‘if Rafa goes I go’ by March there are going to be thousands of toon fans in Leazes Park having running battling with Police to keep our manager and Rafa (Scargill) will still be arguing the toss with Ashley over keeping the club afloat. Oh the joys to look forward to!

Aye, it's going to get toxic towards the end of the season, especially if we're in trouble.

    I'd prefer statues of Ashley.

    Shaped like urinals.

Looking at it on twitter and i know twitter is often used as vent space rather than what will really happen, it's not going to be nice by end of the season.

Particularly as it become apparent Rafa will be leaving because our **** of an owner doesn't want to improve or the team to move.
