    Nice. Enjoy, Bob.

I'm off to the Lakes tomorrow although it's not a holiday as I'm taking a bunch of 15 and 16 year olds to an outdoor activity centre for the week.

Iv'e been Bob but a lot further north on the Istra peninsula.
I can honestly say it's one of the best places I've been to.You certainly won't find more friendly and welcoming people anywhere (apart from the Toon obviously)
The first thing I noticed was how clean it was,and I just couldn't get me head around walking through a pine forest and voila you were on the beach (without sand though).
    Enjoy marra...

Mate went 6 months ago. Loved it. Thinking of taking Mrs Sclox there for the weekend in the spring.

My parents have been a few times in last 3 years and my sisters godmother comes from there, still has an apartment etc.

Suppose to be lovely, although in the old town it can be a nightmare to walk around as it's all cobbles.

If there is anything you'd particularly like to know i can ask my parents.

I went there so long ago that it was still Yugoslavia at the time. Had a great time - I remember doing a boat trip and stoney beaches but crystal clear water. I loved it.

I was also there at that time, beautiful country, perfect weather and remember it was also very cheap.
