Really looking forward to tonight's match against a Motherwell team that will be looking to improve from Saturdays lost on pens as a draw for us will see us top the group.
After last year disappointment in not qualifying after slipping up against the lower teams it was great to win all 3 games to give as a great chance to qualify this season if we do lose tonight but lets think positive and go for it tonight and confirmation our place in the next round topping the group.

Only been to Fir Park once (Scottish Cup 2004) but even though we lost I still have good memories from the match mainly the 2nd half after it snowed at half time when we were losing 3-0 that made the fans signing wanting it called off only to see Queens score twice in the 2nd half both from Sean O`Connor to just lose 3-2 and I am sure after the match then Motherwell manager Terry Butcher said that if Queens had scored a third they would have went on and won that match.

Connor Sammon doubles up on us again same as he did for Partick in Scottish Cup last season.

Reality check and defensive frailties exposed again when coming up against the better opposition.

Its going to be close now to qualify as one of the four best second - placed teams but hopefully our goal difference will see us through

Great support las night, I really enjoyed the game. Set up to score first half but didn't take our chances. Tighter in the second and held a clean sheet. A few battles going on and the opposition were trying to get to young Semple but with the help of our support it just spurred him on. we will be fine this year

447 Queens fans on a Tuesday night during the summer holiday season is a brilliant effort.

It was also because it was a different team for a change. People cannae be bothered travelling to the same old places two or three times every season. Just ask half the fans that used to travel on the supporters buses.

Nevertheless that is a fantastic effort and especially with a helluva folk on holiday.

Bodes well for the forthcoming season.
