    Mbemba signs for Porto

    Afternoon gents,

My Portuguese mate & big Porto fan has told me Mbemba flew in for the 2nd time last night & signed this afternoon for the club for an 'undisclosed fee'. He's not sure if it's the full 8Mil or not but says it's a done deal.

Obvs need to await official confirmation from the club's website.

So now the question is - How much is their first payment?

My guessing is ten bob & a snake belt!

Porto lost Marcano & Richardo Pereira - 50% of their CBs so they are in desperate need to players in that position.

Well unless Rafa can trade a necklace made of chicken feet he got from the WangKei down china town for a Prem standard goal scorer this transfer won't help secure our premier league status during the up coming season no!

Nice to see a new round of speculation linking us to players with minimum release clauses' of 3-5 million

Shopping in the discount bin, AKA the MA/SD special - single stitched track suit bottoms with holes in the pockets.

NUFC the bottom of the transfer barrel once again.

Sorry Rafa mate, us fans & you deserve so much more!

Rafa has to sell before he can spend money but even when he sells he only sees a fraction of it.

    It's a joke.

To be fair to this £3.5 million player we're linked with. He looked ok in WC (i know not the best place to judge).

He can't trade it. Whoever succeeds Rafa will need that necklace to keep us up.

Apart from all the above, which might be true, every time I seen him play, even at left back he never let us down.At the end of the day that's what counts for me ,does he do it on the pitch?not bothered about the other bits.Oh if its a language problem what about Kenedy then?????????????? Rafa doesnt seem bothered about him not speaking the lingo ????Cant have it both ways you have to be consistent and im sorry to see him go,so there.

Another £5m straight into the fat mans wallet...£10m for merino, spent £4m on dubravka...

so far he has banked a net of £11m from player sales and a lot more from players wages for the many that have been released and will be released/loaned

    Sels
    Saivet
    Aarons
    Armstrong

We have been stripped off our player assets along the way...we really now only have about 23-25 senior players...

Barely any purple chips left on the pitch

So the owner asked Rafa to get rid before he can invest in new players.

Rafa is doing his best, despite the bosses holding out for prices from overseas teams which are not so wealthy as Premier League clubs which they simply can not afford.

We have to remember that his cronies are the ones who offered the contract and wages to these players we are trying to punt abroad & yet they wonder why they can not get their money back?

    It beggars belief!

We got Colbeck for zero - he should have been released via 'Bosman' for free. Who gave him £40k+ (or whatever he is one) in the first place?

Mind literally blown by the stupidity of the owner and his crew to expect to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse!
