    Frank the Gas

    the chap who looked like Uncle Albert sadly died yesterday. He posted on here for a time.

    That's a shame, if it's the same bloke I'm thinking about, the likeness was uncanny. He walked in front of me in the Halfords on the track every home match. He'd had his Albion cap that long the fabric on the peak had worn away and all that was left was the plastic, bless him.

    Think he used the old hop hole in carters green,was a big Albion pub until last year

    Hi 68, i saw Frank many times but never got the chance to so speak to him.R.I.P Frank condolances to friends and family.

    It's had a change of land lady and land lord (Shirley and Lou from memory) but it's still a big Albion pub.

    I was in there about two weeks ago.

    Have to be honest though, it just didn't feel the same as before.

    I can remember seeing Frank about on many occasions too.

    But like yourself I can't remember having spoken to him.

    Sad as it seems you can't talk to everyone, more's the pity.
