    Silly silly

To be seeded in the League Cup knockouts, we need to first beat Clyde then hope one of St Johnstone, Dunfermline or Livi slip against Forfar, Stirling or Berwick. And that's assuming Alloa don't beat Ross County in 90 minutes and Hearts do the business at home to ICT. Hmm.

The cost of not only failing to beat Stranraer but losing the shoot-out could be high...of course if we get a good draw regardless it will mean bugger all.

IMO it won’t matter wether seeded or not in two cup competitions last season we played a Premier league team in every knockout round, We tend to play better when the underdogs than when odds on favourites to win games as surely our performance at Stranraer showed. If we get through don’t care you we play have to beat every other team no matter who to get to another final or more importantly win the cup

That's true for last season but over the long haul we'll lose a lot more cup ties against the current Euro seeds than we'll win. And we're much more likely to win the cup in a run requiring one, maybe two, massive performances against the odds than three.
