Aberdeen v Burnley Official Match Thread

I’m in two minds for tonight’s team.

    I could see

    Lewis
    Logan Devlin McKenna Shinnie
    Ferguson Gleeson
    Wright Forrester GMS
    Cosgrove

    Or

    Lewis
    Logan Devlin McKenna Hobon
    Gleeson Shinnie
    Wright Forrester GMS
    Cosgrove

as an answer to the right wing position with Wright inconsistent and McGinn not on form for a year now, how about Hobon at right back with Logan in front?

Certainly a few options (note I didn’t use Considine either, but there is a good chance he’ll be in there)

Quite excited about the game now it’s arrived, hope we give a decent account of ourselves.

    Lewis
    Devlin McKenna Considine
    Logan Ferguson Gleason Shinnie GMS
    Forrester
    Cosgrove

I think McInnes will probably go the usual 4231 with the players above - maybe mcGinn or Wright in for Gleason but with Wright and McGinn both having injuries during preseason and with a desire to keep it tight and not get overrun in midfield, I wonder if he might go 3-5-1-1 as above.

I imagine a cagey start, trying to grow into the game and sneak a goal. Really not sure how it’ll pan out as I don’t follow EPL and have no idea how good Burnley are.

Nae a bad shout on the team.
The more I think about it, Hobon at right back with Logan in front gives the new boy a couple of games before the Huns game.

I was forgetting about Ball... so perhaps McKinney will go...

    Lewis
    Decline McKenna Considine
    Logan Ferguson Gleason Ball Shinnie
    Forrester
    Cosgrove

And bring on GMS and McGinn later in the game to try and hit on the counter.

It's hard to second guess the team as we are guessing on how fit the likes of Gleeson & McGinn are.

    Assuming they're both 100% I'll say that DM will go with this;

    Lewis
    Logan Devlin McKenna Considine (groan)
    Gleeson Shinnie
    McGinn Forrester GMS
    Cosgrove

subs; Cerny, Ball, Hoban, Campbell, Ferguson, Wright, May

    Prediction? 0-2

Lennon will rip Considine a new one.
Struggling to see where goals will come from.
Burnley had an excellent record away from home last season and are tighter than a gnats chuff

Has Dyche bothered to do his presser yet.

Did they drive up or did they wait for the plane. If the latter hopefully they get kicked oot for breaking UEFA protocal

I'm confident of a victory tonight. Certainly don't see us going with a back three.

    Lewis

    Logan
    Devlin
    McKenna
    Shinnie

    Ball
    Gleeson

    GMS
    Forrester
    McGinn

    May
