For the last thirty years or so our politicians and governments of both parties have been quick to blame the EU or bureaucrats in Brussels for their own incompitances and cock ups Over the years I have heard hundreds of interviews start with " Well we had to do whatever the latest cock up was because of the EU" In a large percentage of cases that was simply not true. The cock up was made in Downing street. This process was often started or supported by the three Tory rags, the Telegraph, the Mail or the Sun. Obviously the EU, which we are part of has also made mistakes. Thats politics which is always subject to propaganda.
Over the years we have been poor members of the EU because for most of the time the Tories have been in government, a government thats been at war with itself over membership. Consequently our contribution and active involvement in the management of the EU has been poor. This is despite the fact we have, as a result of various opt outs, opt ins, rebates and special deals thanks to Thatcher and Major we have the best agreement of any country in the EU.
We are on the brink of throwing all that away to pursue the fantasies of free trade deals non of which have so far come to fruition propagated by such swivel eyed Tories such as Fox the so called Business Secretary and David Davis the useless negotiator. We already belong to the worlds biggest and best free market, its time to drop the Brexit nonsense and put our efforts into improving the EU not leaving it.

But you will never beat,e to prove it’s because of Brexit as you will never know what the alternative future would have been.
