Derby are saying Leeds never put a bid in and he's never had a medical YPost saying he demanded £50,000 a week if you believe that you believe in the tooth fairy Not sure where it will end if i was Mel i would let WBA have him for £5 million just to suck Leeds up Bamford decent player when we had him but not a patch on Vydra Like going to buy a Bentley and end up with a Focus

Suggesting he wanted 50k a week is probably yorkshire posts way of letting the fans down gently when in fact he perhaps only wanted 25k and as a golden boot winner who could blame him for wanting a wage rise, Leeds on the other hand were never comfortable with the 11m price tag and only been prepared to pay 24k a week, they umm'd and arrr'd and went elsewhere then came back hoping we'd fall into their trap, I mean that could still happen, it was common knowledge we had to sell before we could buy, we stood still while others made signings till we could stand still no more and we blinked first and bought players on the assumption Vydra and a few more were leaving, well they're still here and Derby could be very close to being held over a barrel and end up having our pant's down by Leeds

Put simply Waghorn +3m for Vydra. No thanks I'd sooner shed 3m+ worth of players and keep Vyds

No deal is better than a bad deal! Ask MoP and ‘Maggie’ May.

Not the end of the world if we keep Vyds and don’t get Waghorn imo.

I won't dispute that, a no deal is definitely better than a bad deal. Would love us to keep Vydra even though it would take over a month to get him up to fitness and speed..

Always a good deal if Leeds don't get him😊
