    Can't have escaped your notice that McCalls Ayr have had a tremendous start . Can they keep it going into the league ?

    I think they will do well. For all his faults McCall has a good eye for a player (he signed some excellent players for us) and he periodically seems to find a club that he does well with.

    The Shankland lad is scoring goals for fun. Could maybe be a surprise package this season

    Don't think the Honest Men or the Wasps will be pushovers especially at home and neither will be no - hopers like Brechin were.
