    James

    Just read this-

Media reports claim that West Bromwich Albion's move for defender Tom James has been called off. The Football Insider website, which has tended to lead the way in terms of this weeks commentary on the Welshman's planned transfer from Huish Park to the Hawthorns, is claiming that although the Glovers had accepted a £400,000 offer, that James had failed a medical yesterday and that the deal will now no longer proceed.

It is on Yeovil's official site that the deal is off.

Don't know why they don't sign Crainie for 12 months. He's been with us all summer and played most of the friendlies. Got to be better than nyom!

Looks like Rondon isn't going to Toon either. They are potless and Gayle wants to stay with them unless he gets an offer he can't refuse. We want to pay him less than NUFC are currently.
    Rafa pissed off.
Release clauses for Rondon, Hegazi and Chadli all expire.
Not that it matters, as no one was prepared to meet the release clause values anyway.

More likely he failed his medical and failing to agree terms is the report to protect the player

Don't think it would be wise of Albion to say the player failed a medical if there was nothing wrong with the guy. News like that could kill a players career hopes of ever moving on to a bigger or better club. We say its a medical problem, Yeovil say he could not agree terms. Can't blame Yeovil for putting a different spin on the matter as they were, or are still hoping for a good transfer fee for the player.

Asa Hartford went on to have a great career after Leeds pulled out.
