    That's very true. Notts are in quite a unique position really, competing with a much bigger/richer/more successful team literally just across the river. We're two divisions apart, but in terms of money and the ability of players, it's a huge gap. How many other lower-league clubs could survive that kind of competition and still increase their fan base? Others share a city, but they have a territorial claim, like the Sheffield or Bristol clubs - and even then, they're not massively different to each other in size. There's no Notts or Forest parts of the city as we're too close.

    That's why it seems so daft when clubs have a dog at our support, like Coventry did. I'd like to see how they'd cope if Villa moved their stadium to the other side of that ****ty car park.

    Nice one Hardy for inspiring more fans to get involved. And to those complaining that he hasn't given an exact number on sales - who said he had to?
